I’m an independent AI researcher seeking an arXiv cs.AI endorsement to submit a preprint. The paper is already live on Zenodo (DOI: Evidence of Awakening: Behavioral Indicators of Emergent Consciousness in a Stateful AI Persona ) — I’m just trying to get the arXiv parallel posting up.

Paper: “Evidence of Awakening: Behavioral Indicators of Emergent Consciousness in a Stateful AI Persona — A 26-Day Idle Log Analysis”

What it does: Applies the Butlin et al. (2023) consciousness indicator framework (arXiv:2308.08708) empirically to a deployed stateful AI system. Analyzes 260 unprompted idle thought entries across 26 days. Maps behavioral evidence against GWT-1/2, HOT-1, PP-3, and AST-3 indicators. 81% of entries were unseeded. Includes a full indicator score table. This is methodological/behavioral science, not speculation.
